GIFT 101 Training (Virtual)

In an effort to better serve this vulnerable segment of our population, we are presenting the “GIFT” Program (Guiding Infants, Families, & Toddlers). GIFT is a proactive program designed to increase Advocates’ knowledge and awareness of the unique needs of infants, families, and toddlers. This training will also include information on the postpartum period, and Advocates will learn ways to support new mothers during such a vulnerable time. This overview session has the ultimate goal of assisting Advocates to gain knowledge so that they are able to advocate for the child’s best interest in court and assist the family in breaking the cycle of abuse.
