GIFT Training
CASA Supervisor, Destin Hudek, will be facilitating a GIFT training on Friday, February 18th in the new CASA Training Room.
TOPIC: What is infant trauma?
This class is to teach Advocates what trauma looks like for newborns and infants.
For example, drug exposure, difficult delivery, and health issues all create trauma in infants.
This class will provide Advocates with skills to teach caregivers how to soothe babies who have been exposed to trauma and offer ways to help our infants in care to overcome trauma.
