Student Success Advocate Training
This training is to prepare Student Success Advocates (SSA) to work with youth engaged in truant behavior in Montgomery ISD and Willis ISD through Child Advocates of Montgomery County’s new truancy initiative.
SSAs will be introduced to the Texas legislative background, ISD truancy prevention process, court involvement, program expectations, and documentation.
In order to volunteer as a SSA in this truancy prevention initiative, volunteers must complete this SSA training. Training will be offered on November 16th (12 pm to 2 pm) and on November 28th (11 am to 1 pm). Choose only one training date. Lunch will be provided. Make your selection when you register.
