What to Expect at Court Hearings
Join us to learn more about the timeline of a CPS case in the court system from the Adversary hearing to the Dismissal date and all the scheduled hearings in between. This training will provide an overview of each type of hearing, such as Adversary, Status, Initial Permanency, Permanency, Trial, and Motions.
Advocates will learn what to expect at each hearing and possible questions the Judge or attorneys may have for a CASA Advocate. We’ll also discuss how to prepare for a hearing and how your Case Supervisor can support you.
