Program Notes: December 2021

Marilyn McQueeneyWe have just completed the first quarter of the new program year.

  • Since September 1st, 42 new children have come into care in our county due to abuse and neglect.
  • As we head into the holidays, over 350 children are in care in Montgomery County.
  • Thankfully, every one of those children has an Advocate working for their best interest.
  • We are so blessed in Montgomery County to have over 250 Advocates who are willing to go above and beyond for children in care and their families.

Whether you have been an Advocate for years or for days – thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing to care about the abused and neglected children in our county and choosing to make a difference in their lives. We could not do this work without each one of you giving your time, talents, and compassion to each one of them.

I cannot thank you enough for all you do each day for your CASA children. My gratitude to you is immense for continuing this vital and important work for the children and their families. I wish you all a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.

Sincerely,

Marilyn McQueeney, TBRI Practitioner
