We need your help with our Gala live and silent auction!
As you may know, CASA has an annual fundraising Gala that ensures we are able to provide an Advocate for every child in foster care in Montgomery County. The funds raised at this annual Gala account for about 30% of our operating budget.
One of the ways we raise money at this event is through our silent & live auctions. This year has been particularly difficult in receiving donation commitments for the live auction, and we could use your help. If you or someone you know might be able to donate an item or an “experience” to our live auction, we would really appreciate the assistance!
Live auction items usually have a value of about $3,000+, and some of the typical things you see in our live auction are:
- Vacation homes (ski homes, beach houses, etc.)
- Hunting or fishing excursions
- Private dinner with wine & professional chef
- Private flight to see fireworks on July 4th
- Unique experiences that one cannot simply buy
