End of Summer Social
YOU’RE INVITED!
Would you like to do more for CASA, but time is an issue? The Recruitment Committee may be the answer!
August 29th we are having a fun get together at Grotto on Market Street from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come meet current committee members to learn more and to socialize with other Advocates. There will be tasty treats and a cash bar.
Being on the Recruitment Committee means:
- You’ll receive monthly emails about upcoming events where we will need people to man the CASA table. Basically, we need people to be at the event to represent CASA. You’ll hand out CASA materials and talk to people about CASA when they walk up to the table.
- You do need to be an Advocate to be on the committee, but you don’t have to be an active Advocate. If life has made it impossible for you to work a case, this is something you can do to help CASA if and when you have the time. Committee members are under no obligation to work events!
- We also need committee members who are willing to sit with new applicants while they are observing court to answer their questions. This can be on days when you are in court anyway!
RSVP is not necessary, but would be appreciated judi@CASASpeaks4Kids.com.
Sincerely,
Judi Foster, Director of Recruiting
