What

Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, or TBRI®, is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to meet attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.

This training will cover the TBRI® Caregiver Package, including parenting tools for each principle. In addition to the Introduction and Overview to TBRI®, other topics discussed will include:

  • What are Adverse Childhood Experiences?
  • Attachment Styles
  • Positive Engagement
  • Understanding Sensory Needs
  • Addressing Physical Needs
  • Behavior Management
  • and other Parenting Tools!

Note: Presentation is not intended for children, and childcare will not be available.

Fee

$15 for the three-part series*. Light snacks provided.
*Financial assistance is available for those interested in taking the class if the cost is a barrier.
