CHILD ADVOCATES COMMUNITY EDUCATION: A division of Child Advocates of Montgomery County

Purpose:

The Community Education Division is dedicated to providing prevention services through training and resources to schools, government agencies, businesses, nonprofit organizations and other groups on the following topics:

  1. Understanding Children from Hard Places and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) – Our goal is to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills necessary to help children overcome the effects of trauma and build healthy relationships. Through our trainings, we aim to create a community that is informed, compassionate, and committed to the well-being of all children.
  2. Child Trafficking and Exploitation Prevention – The Child Advocates of Montgomery County Community Education Division is a licensed provider for Love146’s child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum Not a Number. Not a Number is an interactive child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum designed to provide youth with information and skills in a manner that inspires them to make safe choices.
