What is CASA Young Professionals?

CASA Young Professionals are a volunteer group of individuals (ages 21-45) committed to helping provide an Advocate for every abused child in Montgomery County. It costs $1,500 to provide an Advocate for one abused child for one year. As a fundraising and friend-raising arm of CASA, we support the work done by Advocates with fundraisers, networking events, volunteer opportunities, and professional development.

CASA Young Professionals is an opportunity to share your time and talents to make an impact in the community while meeting new people and networking.

Why join CASA Young Professionals?

We recognize there are many who support the mission of CASA and wish to contribute to the organization, but may not have the time to handle the casework demands of serving as an Advocate. Through short-term volunteer opportunities ranging from event planning to an afternoon helping a foster youth learn to ride a bike, you can find your own way to give back. 100% of funds raised, including membership dues and event proceeds, benefit CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County.

What is required for membership?

Membership is open to all individuals, ages 21-45 interested in the work of CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County. We do ask for an annual commitment of 6 hours of community service/volunteer hours for CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County. Annual membership dues are $75.
