2019 Empowered to Connect Conference

This conference is free to attend; however, if you require childcare, you will need to register and pay $5 per child.

You will be given a 60-minute lunch break each day.

Love Fosters Hope and Orphan Care Network is hosting the Empowered To Connect Conference, together with Show Hope and The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU — a two-day conference designed to help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals better understand how to connect with “children from hard places” in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be.

You will need this workbook for the conference. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Foster and Adoptive Parents Certificate for Training: Adoptive and foster parents in need of documentation for training or continuing education hours will receive a separate certificate each day. You will be responsible for noting which sessions were attended.

NBCC Credit for Certified Counselors: The Empowered to Connect Conference has been approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors for NBCC credit. Show Hope is responsible for all aspects of the program. Each professional interested in receiving hours and a professional certificate is required to register and pay a separate fee at www.etccontinuingeducation2019.eventbrite.com. Bring your letter, with the bar code, to scan or have on your phone.
