Student Success Advocate May Training
This training is to prepare Student Success Advocates (SSA) to work with youth engaged in truant behavior in Montgomery ISD and Willis ISD through Child Advocates of Montgomery County’s new truancy initiative.
SSAs will be introduced to the Texas legislative background, ISD truancy prevention process, court involvement, program expectations, and documentation.
In order to volunteer as a SSA in this program, volunteers must complete this SSA training. Training will be offered on May 14th (10 am to 12 pm).
