Tri-County Youth Mental Health First Aid – Virtual

Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare is providing a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid course to prepare our communities with the knowledge and skills to help individuals who are developing mental health problems or are experiencing a mental health crisis. Mental health first aiders learn a five-step action plan that guides them through the process of reaching out, offering appropriate support, and connecting individuals with helpful resources when necessary. The Youth Mental Health First Aid course is designed to teach adults how to assist a youth who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crises. In the virtual format, participants must complete approximately two hours of pre-work before the virtual session on the training date.

The next training session is Wednesday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a virtual event.
