Youth Mental Health First Aid (In-Service)
CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County is proud to partner with Tri-County Mental Health Services to offer the Youth Mental Health First Aid Course.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders.
This is a blended curriculum that includes 2 hours of pre-work and 4 1/2 hours of classroom training.
This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them with appropriate care.
