June is National Reunification Month

Throughout the month of June, we celebrate the power of family reunification and its positive impact on the lives of children in the foster care system and their parents. National Reunification Month allows us to highlight the importance of family preservation and the efforts undertaken to ensure children remain or are reunited with their families whenever safely possible.

Child Advocates of Montgomery County is committed to advocating for the best interests of children in crisis and ensuring they have a voice in court. Our volunteers work diligently to support children and families and advocate for reunification when safe and possible, providing guidance, resources, and vigorous advocacy.

We invite you to join us in raising awareness about the challenges families face who are separated through the child welfare and foster care system, and the critical need for supportive services to help families safely reunite. Amplify our message within your networks and community to help us create a stronger, more compassionate society where families have the necessary tools and support to thrive.

We encourage you to participate in local events, workshops, and initiatives that promote reunification and provide resources for families. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our mission. Together, we can create a brighter future for children and strengthen families.
