Child Advocates of Montgomery County Announces Director of Programs and Services

CONROE, Texas (Apr. 8, 2024) — Child Advocates of Montgomery County is pleased to announce the appointment of Camille Davis as its Director of Programs and Services. With over 20 years of experience working with vulnerable children and youth involved in the child welfare system, Camille brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role.

Camille’s passion for advocating on behalf of children runs deep. She has worked directly with foster and adoptive families, as well as children living in residential care. Her firsthand experience has allowed her to witness the valuable difference that a Court Appointed Special Advocate® (CASA) can make in a child’s life. Camille firmly believes in the mission of Child Advocates of Montgomery County and is committed to advancing its work.

“It has been amazing to see all the great work being done by Child Advocates of Montgomery County. I am excited to contribute to this team of such dedicated individuals.” Camille added, “I look forward to a bright future as we collectively work to support children and families in crisis.”

As a TBRI® Practitioner and a former licensed Child Care Administrator, former Child Placing Agency Administrator, and former Executive Director of Maryland CASA, Camille possesses a unique blend of expertise. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, and a master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
